Very careful and sympathetic blast cleaning to remove the old paint from these beams in this grade 2 listed property as part of a full renovation.
Blasting was carried out before the woodworm treatment to allow the fluid to penetrate into the timbers and kill any wood worm.

Blastaway were asked by a local builder to blast clean a new green oak internal roof structure.
The building process usually leaves machining marks as well as some water stains and tannin marks.
These show up on the timber and are unsightly so blast cleaning removes all the marks to leave a clean uniform appearance.
